Green Initiative
Curby's Lawn & Garden is committed to working towards lowering our carbon footprint. Since 1991, we have recycled all runoff water from our nursery through drain tiles and a cistern collection system, saving uncountable gallons of water as well as slowing run off and erosion.
Since trees have the greatest positive impact on the Earth's carbon footprint through absorbing carbon dioxide and producing oxygen, we believe planting trees not only adds beauty to landscapes but also helps to save the environment.
RECYCLING
We're involved in the "Green Initiative" of recycling all of our plastic pots. The pots are either re-used or sent to a company that re-uses the plastic to make various other items. We also recycle paper products, cardboard, and aluminum throughout the company. By recycling within the workplace, many of our employees have started recycling at home!
